A library is a treasure house of knowledge, offering a peaceful environment for reading, learning, and research. It provides access to a wide range of books, journals, newspapers, and digital resources.
The college library is well equipped and efficiently maintained with a computerized user friendly data filling system, functions as an invaluable aid to every aspiring scholar. The library presently boasts of an impressive stock of more than 16000 books, 199500 Ebooks, 6000 E- journal, and 6,00,000 books from National Digital Library. New books are added to the library through the course of each academic year. The college library is fully automated using SOUL 3.0 software. The library is computerized and books are bar codes and made easily accessible. College library provides access to all reference collection including encyclopedia, yearbooks, dictionaries, atlas, biographies, competition books and reports etc. The college library is administered by the library committee. The college library acquires books and reading resources on the recommendation of the teacher-in-charge of the various departments of the college. At the beginning of the new academic session, a tentative budget is allocated to the various departments. The membership of college library is open for all its students, teachers, and non-teaching staff of the college. While entering the library, the user has to show his/her valid identity/Library card.
The library has a subscription of 115 Newspapers and Magazines both in English and Hindi.
The library has separate reading area for faculty and students with seating capacity of 80. It has a separate periodical and magazine section along with an archives section which maintains the history of the institution. The library remains open on all working days from 9 A.M to 4 P.M.
8 computers, 1 Photocopier and 2 printers are available for the use of the students. The library also has a membership of N-LIST and N.D.L. Downloading facilities are available for the users. Students are encouraged to make use of the library facilities and help desks are set up to help them in their search of reading material in the library.
