“Environment Protection and Waste Management”
An Essay Writing Competition was organized in Government College Nalwa on 06-05-2022 by Nature Interpretation Centre (NIC) and Eco Club in collaboration with Department of Chemistry as a part of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’s Celebration”. NIC nodal officer Dr. Sudesh Rathi, Eco Club Incharge Mrs. Meena Pannu and Dr. Rajni Mohil from Department of Chemistry told that the main objective of organizing this competition was to aware the students about Waste management, which is a powerful way of protecting the environment. The students of Government College Nalwa actively participated in this competition and discussed various practices of waste management for human wellbeing through their essay writing. The judgement duty was performed by Dr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Vandana Sharma and Dr. Pooja Rani. Professor Sh. Anil Gautam motivated the students to participate in such type of competitions and said that Environment protection is one of the basic prerequisites for the overall development of any country in the world.
